Sally is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with 25 years’ experience working in hospital and community settings in Queensland, New South Wales and the United Kingdom. She has worked in acute tertiary hospitals and community-based rehabilitation services within both private and public health organisations, contributing to a broad, well-rounded understanding of the health sector.
Sally has supported clients with a diverse range of medical conditions, with specialist skills in the areas of stroke, chronic pain, motor neuron disease, musculoskeletal, mental health, cognitive impairment, brain injury and age-related conditions.
As a clinician, Sally has developed a high level of skill in administering standardised assessments, conducting functional and activities of daily living assessments, prescribing assistive aids and minor home modifications, training support workers and carers, delivering case management services, and collaborating closely with families, support services, and other key stakeholders.
Beyond her clinical experience, Sally has also worked in leadership roles where she has led multidisciplinary teams, mentored less experienced staff, served as a clinical educator for OT students, and driven continuous service improvement initiatives.
Her diverse career experience enables her to conduct thorough and detailed occupational therapy assessments and provide insightful and practical recommendations, whilst always maintaining a compassionate and warm approach.
