Carol is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with over 15 years’ experience across hospital, community and insurance sectors. She has a strong background in complex case management, leadership and return-to-work services, and more recently had focused on delivering high-quality Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS participants. Carol is known for her clear, thorough and well-reasoned reports.
Carol’s clinical background spans a wide range of physical, neurological and psychiatric conditions from adolescence onwards. Her experience spans community-based practice, aged care, early rehabilitation and acute care, occupational rehabilitation, insurance based complex case management and NDIS work. She has strong expertise in analysing complex cases, applying clinical reasoning, and making informed and practical recommendations.
Carol has held roles requiring advanced analytical capability, strategic decision-making, and the development of national policies and procedures. This breadth of experience has strengthened her understanding of complex systems and the importance of working within legislative and regulatory frameworks. At the same time, her many years of working closely with people with disabilities, across various cultural backgrounds, has fostered a deeply empathetic and sensitive approach to practice.
