Brianna is a skilled Occupational Therapist who completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney in 2016. With nearly a decade of experience, her clinical background spans inpatient and community-based settings within the public, forensic, and private sectors.
Since 2017, Brianna has worked extensively in public mental health, where she developed a deep understanding of the impact of major mental illness and co-occurring cognitive or intellectual disabilities on daily function. Her experience includes working within forensic settings and the correctional system, providing her with a unique perspective on the intersection between community and forensic support needs and the importance of thorough risk management.
Brianna’s clinical background has enabled her to conduct detailed Functional Capacity (FCA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL) assessments within the NDIS framework. She is experienced in providing clinical evidence for the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) and has a history of authoring pre-sentence court reports. Her approach focuses on navigating the complexities of functional impairment to provide clear, well-reasoned, and objective documentation that reflects an individual’s true functional ability and trajectory.
